• Nar Bustamante, president and founder of Nar Design Group in Sacramento, CA, was born in Mexico City and raised in San Francisco.  His extensive travels throughout Europe, North Africa, and North America have played an influential role in his appreciation for art, culture, and amazing architecture.  These cornerstones, along with his own client’s artwork, provide the unique, everlasting inspiration for his international award winning and highly publicized designs.  Only bound by his imagination, Nar has influenced design, producing some of the most sought-after projects with his take on luxury modern, eclectic, and innovative projects, never leaving room for predictability. 

  • Kacie Atkinson graduated with her degree in interior design from San Diego State University. Soon after graduating and moving back to the Sacramento area, she met the Nar Design Group team and began her exciting journey working in the kitchen and bath industry. Kacie has always been drawn to residential design and loves the opportunity to reinvent an existing space. Transforming a space into its most beautiful and functional version of itself is her passion. She thoroughly enjoys the broad range of exposure working in the design/build field and loves that every day brings a new learning experience. Acting as both lead designer and project manager allows Kacie to see all the behind the scenes of what it takes to make the innovative designs come to life. Working through the intricate details in the field provides her with a deeper understanding that gets translated to each future project. With the many layers of seeing a project through from start to finish, Kacie’s favorite part of the design process is coming together with the complete Nar Design Group team sharing creative design ideas and seeing what beautiful creations are born!

  • Kailani Bustamante, young aspiring designer at Nar Design Group, was born and raised in Sacramento, California. At a young age she was by her father’s side, Nar Bustamante, at jobsites and in showrooms where she was eager to help with designing new projects. Having grown up in a design atmosphere, Kailani was quick to learn certain aspects of design and grew a keen eye for how contemporary homes look both in construction process and final completion. Kailani’s other artistic outlets include a decade of studying ballet with Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet, creating and releasing an album called Ghost on Spotify, and summer internships at Nar Design Group. Through all of her high school years, Kailani will be working as a junior designer during her summers.
